Before joining United Law Company as Senior Partner, Mr.Shahzad has represented Judiciary with illustrious career as Civil Judge cum Judicial Magistrate and conducted numerous civil and criminal trials. He advised Govt. of the Punjab, Pakistan as Deputy Solicitor in the Provincial Law Department on diverse litigation, administrative and financial issues coupled with major thrust in drafting of agreements, codification of laws and regulatory regime. Mr. Shahzad possesses rich experience and specializes in all aspects of Intellectual Property, Banking, Taxation, IT & Media Laws, International Trade, Project Development & Financing, Employment Laws, Immigration Laws and Commercial Arbitration. He has recently assisted World Bank in the Project focusing “Doing Business in 2005; Obstacles to Growth”. He has earned commendation of Investment Climate Department, The World Bank Group for contributions in areas including “Starting a Business”, “Hiring and Firing of Workers”, “Contract Enforcement”, “Getting Credit”, “Closing Business” and “Corporate Governance”. He regularly advises Fortune 500 Companies and Pakistani Business conglomerate in cross border transactions including high profile tender offers, public offerings and multiple projects.

Ali Ahmad Chaudhary

Mr. Chaudhary is one of the senior most associate attorneys in the law firm. He has served as prosecutor before Anti Terrorist Courts and has established his strong grip in the conduct of criminal side of litigation including white collar crimes. He has got the expertise in successfully conducting legal matters before NAB Courts, various trial cases before Sessions Courts and other courts of special jurisdiction as well as before High Courts in Writ and Appellate jurisdiction. Sh. Attiq Ur Rehman

Advocate High Court

He is a senior associate in the firm and his major areas of practice are banking, real estate, media, information technology and human rights. He holds a Masters Degree in Law from Superior University and also a Masters Degree in Mass Communication from University of the Punjab. He extensively advises various local and multinational banks as well as other financial institutions and he is a busy litigator before the Banking Courts and High Court. He has expertise in drafting and vetting various agreements like loan agreements, vendor agreements, service agreements, business association agreements, media affair agreements, terms and conditions for product/services offered by the banks etc. He has also plenty of experience in the labor and employment issues whereas he has also served in the administrative sector for over 18 years. He is Counsel Member of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, Legal Advisor for Social Welfare Department, executive member of Punjab T.B Association and Panel Advocate of Various Banks and WAPDA and other autonomous bodies. He frequently writes columns in known national & international magazines and newspapers. He has extensively traveled abroad and has read papers in seminars and workshops on the topics of his professional competence.
